Description
Jaws Built to Bite
Originally coined the "Piranha" for its sheer holding power, the Deep Grip Jaws bring a 40 mm (1.57") engagement depth and ridged gripping faces to bear on tall vessels, deep boxes, and the awkward shoulders of unseasoned timber. That depth keeps the workpiece steady even when most of its mass sits well past the chuck face.
True-circle diameters are 85 mm (3.35") for the recess and 62 mm (2.44") for the spigot; the practical range stretches from 57–72 mm (2.24"–2.83") internal and 77–93 mm (3.03"–3.66") external when you can accept some loss of perfect roundness.
Compatible with both SK100 and SK114 chucks. Bolts directly to the accessory mounting jaws supplied with each chuck — no adapter needed. Made from stainless steel to protect against corrosion.

In Detail
The Deep Grip Jaws extend your chuck's reach into taller workpieces — vases, deep vessels, tall boxes. The longer engagement length keeps the workpiece secure even when most of its mass sits well past the chuck face.
