The Colossus jaws are the largest gripper profile Axminster makes, expanding into a 150 mm (5.91") dovetailed recess or compressing onto a 125 mm (4.92") spigot. That's the kind of capacity you reach for when the workpiece is an unseasoned log destined for a hollow form, a salad bowl big enough for the whole family, or a platter that doesn't fit anything else in your jaw collection.

Built on the proven design of the Type G Gripper Jaws but scaled up for serious bowl and hollow-form work, the Colossus offers a wide gripping range that forgives imprecise tenon or recess cutting — useful when the blank's diameter is closer to a guess than a measurement.

Recommended for SK100 and SK114 chucks — bolts directly to the accessory mounting jaws supplied with each chuck. Made from stainless steel to protect against corrosion.
