Description
Serrated Inside and Out for End Grain and Green Wood
The Type H Gripper Jaws bite from both directions. Serrations machined into the internal and external walls put steel teeth into the workpiece on whichever face you're holding from, giving you a powerful hold on stock that wants to slip — end grain, freshly cut green timber, and the irregular shoulders of hollow form blanks. A 15 mm jaw depth adds contact area, which keeps vessels and vases steady under heavy gouge work.
True-circle diameters are 57 mm and 27 mm internal and 70 mm external; the practical range stretches further if you accept some loss of perfect roundness.
Recommended for SK100 and SK114 chucks. If putting 100 mm jaws onto the SK114, the additional 100 mm Accessory Mounting Jaws will be needed. Made from stainless steel to protect against corrosion.
