The Universal Live Center for Tailstock Work

Built to be the universal live center: six interchangeable tip profiles thread into a single body cut on a precision taper, so each tip runs perfectly concentric. Two sealed bearings keep the body smooth under load.

Six tips ship with the kit — three standard (60° cone, long point, cup/ring) for general turning, and three additional (30 mm mini faceplate, 90° pipe center, conical) that extend the center to long-stemmed goblets, pre-bored holes, and spherical forms. An ejector ring behind the tip, operated by two tommy bars, makes tip swaps quick.

2MT (Morse Taper) shank fits any lathe tailstock with a 2MT socket.
