Stanton Bench Plans Mark II
These plans are okay... you must view the videos on how to make this however, because these plans only include drawings and measurements in metric. There are no written instructions. Also, the parts list only list feet that you can order from Australia. There is a separate pdf that works on a 3d printer, I assume, so you can print your own legs... but I'm not interested in doing that or ordering from across the world. The original video shows feet using parts from Rockler, so that probably what I'll do. So, basically, this is useful but not a one and done bit of info that will lead you to an easy build.

Quality plan for mobile work bench top
This plan is reasonably priced and is delivered as a computer download. I downloaded it to my iPad with no problems whatsoever. It contains both an Imperial and a Metric plan. Both plans printed out easily and were very legible and easy to read for those who wish to have a hard copy. However, the downloaded version, also, is equally usable and can be navigated easily on the iPad and/or computer. The plans are precise and easy to understand. For those who have purchased plans in the past that have not really been quality work, I think you will be highly satisfied with these plans. They are professional in nature and should meet most people's expectations. I have no hesitation in recommending this product to others.

Well worth the money.
Lots of clever ideas well presented. My next project will be to build a Stanton Bench.

I may be biased but I use all the time.
As I am the person who invented the Stanton bench, you may feel that this review isn't worth reading, but I will let you be the judge. I have had the Stanton bench in my workshop for a little over 2 months and found a few things that I love about it. 1. No dog holes drilled in any of my "Expensive" work tops. 2. The dog holes and T track work in harmony with each other, especially if you own a track saw and pocket hole jig. The T track is for locking things down such as a drill vise, dowel maker or any jig that is best held with a couple of small T bolts, instead of a clamp through one of the dog holes. Also very handy for holding small items protruding past the edge of the bench that require a biscuit joiner or domino. 3. The dog holes are fantastic for not only aligning a guide rail or track to create a perfect 90 or 45 degrees cut, but also to hold a myriad of clamps to restrain work pieces while sanding or assembling. Add the TSO MTR-18 TRIANGLE and every angle is covered. 4. The front apron or skirt allows me to plane edges, apply edge banding, controlled drilling into edges. It also allows me to use the guide rail support that I designed as an accessory to the Stanton bench. One of the big features that is proving invaluable is that none of my laminate tops have had any marks left on them. This also applies to anyone's kitchen benches that I have used the Stanton bench on. Being able to "knock" it down to a flat pack for transporting in my little hatchback car is fantastic. I am also very happy that I included the 3 cushion strips to the top and may add a fourth towards the rear. Whilst I don't use the Moxon vise as much as I thought I would, there are times when it's very gentle and secure grip are definitely an asset, especially when clamping items with a high gloss finish. I hope that this review helps you when you make your decision about purchasing the plans.
