For a precision perforated multifunction worktop only CNC Routing can guarantee accuracy.
With the widespread availability of industrial CNC Routers in commercial woodshops, all that is needed is a CAD file for the desired sheet size in DXF format. Because not everyone has access to, or the skill, to create these CAD files, we have created them for you in a range of sheet sizes. To make it easy to see what the free CNC files contain, we have also added dimensioned CNC drawings in PDF format you can print out.
The free CNC router files download contains all DXF and Drawing files as individual files. Download all of them. Copy the one you want to get machined and email to a CNC Routing shop.
To find a commercial shop with CNC Routers in your area, just google "CNC routing" followed by the name of the town or City nearest you. Call them up and tell them you will email them a DXF file for routing a hole pattern in a sheet of ¾“ MDF and ask them to quote routing it. It is usually simplest to have the shop use material from their stock and machine it at their convenience for best efficiency and lowest cost.
We can gather user experiences with shop names and costs if you will email us that information and we will post it to share with other woodworkers – "pay it forward"

Awesome templates
Used these to build my CNC bed. Best of all I was able to use the dogs and triangle from TSO for setting workpieces. Thank you so much!

CNC Routing Files - MFT Table
Rather than buying an expensive jig to create my own MFT table top, I took the CNC routing file from TSO to a local CNC shop. The file worked perfectly with their equipment and the top came out great. The hole size and grid spacing was absolutely perfect. Saved me a lot of time and money - thanks TSO!

53" x 29" top
I'd been contemplating a MFT-style build and had looked at every video out there on how to make an accurate top. I stumbled onto these files via the Festool Owners Group forum. Downloaded the files, sent the .dxf to my local CNC company and $150 later I had an absolutely perfect top. I could not be more pleased.

Perfect for avid cnc spoilboard
I took the file into vcarve pro, centered it on the x axis and copied the array on the y-axis. Now I have 5’x9’ spoil board. I’m going to use the same file for the vertical spoil board. Thanks TSO!! Xo

CNC routing files
Despite being a designer able to create these templates on my own I downloaded them to save time. I sent file 610-195 to my local cnc shops for quote. All but one wanted $300 or more to cut the 36" x 21" piece. Insanely greedy, as is usual with the Toronto marketplace. Then I sent to my goto shop and was quoted about $45 for 1/2" MDF top as I requested. I plan to use this top as a template to route my own tops of any size using a template router bit. Don't overlook this option if you're own a budget people. This file alone is worth the price ;)
