Another TSO innovation, the GRC-12 is a first-of-its-kind, self-aligning guide rail connector for use with Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, Kreg ACS, POWERTEC, WEN, and Triton brand guide rails. Before the GRC-12, aligning connected guide rails required a variety of methods and additional tools to achieve straight connections, with misalignment often difficult to detect without a long straight edge or similar tool. This issue becomes obvious too late—when gaps show up during assembly or glue-up.
The GRC-12 TSO guide rail connectors solve this problem with a completely self-contained and self-aligning design - thanks to an innovative integral keystone feature. Simply slide the GRC-12 into your guide rail T-slots and firmly tighten the M6 Mushroom Head Screws - that's it.
Because small hex wrenches can be annoying to deal with, we’ve solved that too: the included hex driver drops easily into the hex socket and is large enough not to get lost or easily overlooked.

Not As Precise As Expected
When reading about these, seeing all the other reviews, etc. my expectations were pretty high. Mechanically these should be precise and do what they say, but I have found that there is substantial slop in them, even once tightened, such that moving the connected rails will throw them out of alignment, and you will need to use a straight edge to hope you get them aligned properly.

After endless frustration with Festool’s guide rails connectors I finally gave in to try these. They lock in much easier and alignment is spot on 1st and every time. Why did I wait so long?

Great guide rail connectors
I own one Festool guide rail, one Makita and two Powertec guide tails. These fit perfectly in my Festool, and they fit pretty well in my Makita. My Powertec rails are slightly too large to utilize the bevels. I do plan on upgrading everything to Festool guide rails so this eventually wont be an issue for me. A huge PRO for me are the large flat "set screws" my previous connector rods were leaving indents in my rails due to the tiny set screws. I highly recommend these. Another great TSO product.

Rail connections fit perfect. ? the 3mm screws are a wonderful upgrade to the stock straight slot screws.

Self Aligning Guide Rail Connectors
I bought for my 2 Makita 1400mm rails having had issues with both the Festool and Makita ones. Now even without fiddling around with a long straight edge or string line it’s all perfectly straight!
