Extend Your Guide Rails for 48" Cross Cuts

Cutting across a 4x8-foot workpiece with the common 55" (1,400mm) guide rail leaves the track saw unguided at the beginning and/or end of the cut, resulting in an edge that may not be straight.

The GRE-13 guide rail extender provides a cost-effective alternative to the 75" (1,900mm) guide rail by joining a nominally 13 5/8” (346mm) section of genuine Festool® guide rail section with the best-in-class GRC-12 Self-Aligning Guide Rail Connectors. Secures using a 3mm driver or hex wrench (not included but available separately). The GRE-13 guide rail extension provides the right support at both ends of the cut, and its convenient length fits in a Systainer!

We recommend using only genuine Festool guide rails to mate with the GRE-13 Guide Rail Extension.

    Guide Rail Extension

    The TSO Guide Rail Extension and rail connectors are excellent. I am a long time Festool user. The is 1400 mm Festool saw track is too short to fully support the saw before and after making a cut across plywood and other wide materials. The TSO Guide Rail Extension solves this problem simply and easily. And it stores in the Systainer with the saw!

    Great bit of kit. I no longer have joined rails overhanging my material by two feet. The rail connectors are brilliant. Way better than stock.

    Great product and helps to make 48 inch boards more manageable. It would be great if the same could be done for the Lr-32 track

    Great Guide Rail Addition

    I'm so glad I stumbled across this item. Once installed using the included pieces, it adds just enough length to cut a full 48" sheet good with the track saw fully supported all the way. I leave mine installed on the 1400 guide rail. However, it will also store easily in the TS 55 sustainer.
