Description
Turn Your Track Saw Into a Precision Panel Saw
On its own, a track saw is great for breaking down sheet goods — but it doesn’t guarantee repeatable, identical cuts. That’s where a parallel guide system changes the game. By attaching directly to your guide rail, it gives you fixed, physical stops that lock in measurements, so your saw stays perfectly parallel to the edge of your material. The result: dead-accurate rips you can repeat over and over. With a parallel guide system, your track saw goes beyond material breakdown and becomes a precision tool for building cabinets, furniture, closets, and more — faster, easier, and with total confidence.
For years, the TSO Parallel Guide System has been the go-to choice for woodworkers who demand accuracy from their track saw. Now the Parallel Guide System Gen 2 takes everything woodworkers loved about the original and makes it faster to set up, easier to use, and more versatile — all shaped directly by feedback from real customers.
Key Features
- Complete, All-in-One Kits: Each Parallel Guide Gen 2 kit comes complete with two Flip Stop Pros, two Parallel Guide Tracks, and two Drop-Loc Connectors.
- Repeatable Precision: Single-piece aluminum Parallel Guide Tracks with dual-dimension scales and Flip Stop Pros deliver predictable accuracy with every cut.
- Faster Setup: Universal Parallel Guides and Drop-Loc Connectors install and remove in seconds, so you spend more time cutting.
- Unmatched Capacity: Make parallel, repeatable rips up to 50" wide, or expand later with additional standalone track lengths.
- Universal Compatibility: Works with Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, Kreg, Ridgid, Powertec, and Wen guide rails out of the box.
- Expandable System: Add additional Flip Stop Pros, narrow stock cutting attachments, Guide Rail Square Connector, or storage solutions to tailor the system to your workflow.
What’s New in Gen 2
Drop-Loc Connectors: Quick Connect Speed, Universal Fit
Connectors are the critical link between your guides and the guide rail, locking the system together with rigidity you can trust — but without slowing you down. Our new Drop-Loc Connectors deliver on both strength and speed. Just press the button, tilt it into the guide rail’s T-track at a 30–45 degree angle, swing it down until it sits flat, release the button and it’s installed. No feeding from the end of the rail, or fussing with hose deflectors or other accessories already installed. Push the button again to slide it along the rail or tilt it back out for instant removal. Once engaged, it’s fully captured in the T-track, so it won’t fall out when you lift or move the rail. Best of all, it’s universal — fitting Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, Kreg, Ridgid, Powertec, and Wen — and every kit includes a pair.
Flip Stop Pro: Engineered for Rock-Solid Accuracy
The new Flip Stop Pro is our most solid and stable stop yet. Its dual-arm, no-deflection design holds firm, even when you register a full sheet of plywood against it. A longer contact arm ensures positive engagement with your workpiece, while a precisely machined recess at the pointer eliminates parallax for dead-accurate readings from any angle. A redesigned fine-thread calibration system makes setup easier than ever — just set it once, and it stays locked in place cut after cut. It’s backward-compatible with previous generation parallel guide tracks and, like the original, features a spring-loaded base that stays planted yet moves smoothly when you want it to. Quite simply, it’s the best flip stop we’ve ever built.

Which PGS Gen 2 Kit Should You Choose?
- 20” Parallel Guide System (Max Rip: 20")
Compact and ultra-portable — even fits in a Systainer with foam insert. Perfect for cabinet parts, drawer components, and shelving where cuts rarely exceed 20". - 30” Parallel Guide System (Max Rip: 30")
The “do-it-all” size for most woodworkers. Covers most cabinetmaking, furniture, and everyday shop work, with extra reach for wider panels like cabinet sides. - 50” Parallel Guide System (Max Rip: 50")
The most versatile kit. Includes both 30" and 50" tracks, giving you the capacity for kitchen islands, large closets or built-ins, workbench or shop cabinets, and commercial casework where panels often run deeper than 30".

TSO System Approach to Accessories for Better Results
Some features from the original system were re-engineered into dedicated accessories, shaped by customer feedback. The narrow stock rods have been replaced with the Narrow Stock Pro (sold separately), a more stable and accurate way to handle thin rips. And for those who prefer using a GRS-16 Guide Rail Square in place of a connector, the new Guide Rail Square Connector makes it possible — while also offsetting the GRS-16 for clear visibility of its reference edge, so you can be absolutely certain you’re square before every cut.
These changes keep the core system focused, while giving woodworkers better, purpose-built solutions for specialized tasks.

Buy the 30” set!
Quality products, but I have issue with customer service. I’ve bought a lot of products from TSO, including the 20” & 50” PGS. I’d like to have the 30” tracks but they are only available in the set. I called to see what my options are—nothing. Offered to buy another 50” if they would ship a 30”, they can’t be bothered. I’ll never purchase from TSO again.

TPG Parallel guide is about average as compared to others
I believe all parallel guide systems are somewhat flawed, in that they rely on some kind of visual setting instead of a rigid repeatable locking setting. Having to eyeball a visual flip stop against a ruler is not great for getting two guides set exactly the same. I will use these guides for rough cuts only, not finished cuts. I do not recommend them (or any other brand for that matter)

Parallel guides
The TSO parallel guides work very well. They are easy to use, calibrate, and read. I like these much better then the guides I previously used

Game Changer
I was looking at the Festool guide system and it seems clunky and I wasn't sold. I was looking at a woodpecker version that seemed nice, but someone in the comments mentioned that they didn't like it and that they should have bought the TSO. I ended up looking here and liked what I saw from the videos and write ups. I couldn't be happier! As a weekend warrior building cabinets these allow me to use my track saw to make the most accurate cuts than I ever have been able to do before. I didn't have to use my table saw at all with these. They're easy to use, super easy to calibrate and spot on accurate. The kit I bought came with the 50" and the 30", I just ordered the 20" as well.

Absolutely incredible
This is one of those purchases you hold off on, and once you have it, wonder how you've lived without it. They're super simple to calibrate and make cutting perfectly parallel pieces a breeze. The quality and precision are impeccable. They've turned this average woodworker into one that's not too bad :)
