Extend Your Guide Rails for 48" Cross Cuts

Cutting across a 4x8-foot workpiece with the common 55" (1,400mm) guide rail leaves the track saw unguided at the beginning and/or end of the cut, resulting in an edge that may not be straight.

The GRE-13 guide rail extender provides a cost-effective alternative to the 75" (1,900mm) guide rail by joining a nominally 13 5/8” (346mm) section of genuine Festool® guide rail section with the best-in-class GRC-12 Self-Aligning Guide Rail Connectors. Secures using a 3mm driver or hex wrench (not included but available separately). The GRE-13 guide rail extension provides the right support at both ends of the cut, and its convenient length fits in a Systainer!

We recommend using only genuine Festool guide rails to mate with the GRE-13 Guide Rail Extension.

TSO brand products are guaranteed for five years from date of sale against defects in materials or workmanship. Normal wear and tear and accidental damage are not covered. For any product determined to have a defect covered by this warranty, TSO Products will repair or, at its option, replace with current comparable product.     Solves problem of Festool guide rail being a little short for cutting across 4". Not much support at either end and leads to end of cut not quite all the through. Works great with this kit.

    Used it today to cut five 53 inch long pieces of plywood. It works perfectly for times like this when you otherwise would have to awkwardly balance the saw at the start and end of the cut. This makes things much safer.

    Very high quality, a definite have to have for using 55" rail to cut off 48" wide panels

    Works great, saves me from attaching a full length rail. My only issue was it took 10 days from the time it was shipped. Thanks FedEx!!!

    When doing my last project using the 55" Festool Guide Rail and the TSO GRS-16, I realized I ran out of guide rail when cutting across a sheet of plywood .... not optimal but I just dealt with it .... then i was reviewing the TSO Product site one day and noticed the GRE-13 Guide Rail Extension that was compatible with the Festool Guide Rail .... ordered it and problem solved!
