Extend Your Guide Rails for 48" Cross Cuts

Cutting across a 4x8-foot workpiece with the common 55" (1,400mm) guide rail leaves the track saw unguided at the beginning and/or end of the cut, resulting in an edge that may not be straight.

The GRE-13 guide rail extender provides a cost-effective alternative to the 75" (1,900mm) guide rail by joining a nominally 13 5/8” (346mm) section of genuine Festool® guide rail section with the best-in-class GRC-12 Self-Aligning Guide Rail Connectors. Secures using a 3mm driver or hex wrench (not included but available separately). The GRE-13 guide rail extension provides the right support at both ends of the cut, and its convenient length fits in a Systainer!

We recommend using only genuine Festool guide rails to mate with the GRE-13 Guide Rail Extension.

TSO brand products are guaranteed for five years from date of sale against defects in materials or workmanship. Normal wear and tear and accidental damage are not covered. For any product determined to have a defect covered by this warranty, TSO Products will repair or, at its option, replace with current comparable product.     GRE guide rail extension

    I bought two Festool guide rails. One 55 inch and the other 106 inch. My thoughts were that these rails would be long enough to slice up 4 x 8 sheets of plywood. However those rails could certainly be a few inches longer. Especially when using the Festool parallel guides. The GRE 13 is the perfect solution to this problem. It is exactly the same dimensions of the Festool track. Because is is very short the connector rails do an amazing job holding the two pieces of track together. Great solution. I will be buying a second one to permanently extend both of my Festool tracks.

    Works exactly as described. The TSO connectors are a definite upgrade to my Festool connectors. Slot in perfect and create dent marks like the OEM part does. The track is just a small piece of Festool track but allows you to cross cut 48" without a dicey starting cut using the 55" track.

    Wow.....this is a superior product. The attention to detail, and finish, is a real upgrade to the standard Festool guide rail connectors.....even better than the 2nd generation Festool guide rail connectors. This is my first TSO product, and I will be buying more.
