Introducing the new GRC-12 Guide Rail Connector Set
Available only at TSOProducts.com
Precision connector for FESTOOL® FS Series, MAKITA® & TRITON® track saw guide rails
The first Self-Aligning Guide Rail Connector
Another TSO breakthrough
- Connects AND aligns in one operation, with no need for secondary tools like using a saw or level.
- Easy, fast, accurate!
- Only perfectly aligned rails can produce perfectly straight cuts.
- Unique Patent Pending design helps keep rails aligned.
- GRC-12 keeps rails aligned with it's Keystone-shaped Connector feature.
- Connected and DONE!
Simple, Automatic Accuracy
Before the GRC-12, aligning connected guide rails required a variety of methods and additional tools to achieve straight connections. Misalignment is often difficult to detect without a long straight edge or similar tool. Misalignment becomes obvious too late - when gaps show up during assembly.
The Patent Pending GRC-12 is completely self-contained and self-aligning - thanks to an innovative integral keystone feature. Simply slide the GRC-12 into your guide rail T-slots and firmly tighten the set screws - you’re done.
Because small set screws can be annoying to deal with, we’ve solved that too: the included Ball Hex Driver drops easily into the hex socket and is large enough not to get lost or easily overlooked.

Not only use two to align/extend Festool fences but also to extend/align an Incra miter saw fence (54" fence extended with 36" extension on one side and 18" extension the other). The self centering has advantage of being more secure than non-centering (with additional slop). All manufacturers should license this capability from TSO. HOWEVER, I believe the price should get you two (not one) and I agree with whomever suggested there should be a bigger footprint that presses against the slot instead of only the size of the small metric set screws. With 4 extended footprints I'd be happy with the $50 price for each. And a suggestion... back to that Incra fence... I had to make my own 3/16" x 3/8" x 12" rails (2 for each extension joint). I would have gladly paid $100 for the 4 I needed. Incra, nor anyone else, makes those size rail slides but boy has that tricked out my miter fence. Why not use all the other miter fences on the market you ask? Well, I'll tell you. All the other fences are either too tall and reduce the dust collection of my Festool and Bosh, and/or they are so mature that the bladder completely separated the fence with lots of integrity.
I have 3 Makita 55" rails. 2 stay connected all the time and is where I used these. They went in and worked as described. Seem to be a better connection and alignment than the Makita ones they replaced.
Does exactly what it is advertised to do and beats simply having two guide rails align by butting against each other. I also use it on my miter saw fence as the main support for an 18" extension. All guide rails "SHOULD" Be designed/sold this way. That said, I'm not sure just how impervious it is to being bent and don't wish to test it. And for the price I would have expected to get two or, sell them individually for $25. it's worth it if you want "the best" (like those who but Festool products) and it will save you aggravation down the road.
