Both the large and small gauges are made of 14-gauge stainless steel, with internal parts comprised of additional stainless steel components, all machined on JessEm's Swiss lathes. The tightening wheel is made of machined brass and the outer washers allow for ultra smooth adjustments.

This gauge is equipped with micro-detents, allowing adjustments down to 1/16 of an inch. With the smooth adjustment knob and easy-to-read laser etchings, this tool guarantees repeatable accuracy that is unmatched in the woodworking tool today.
