Compatible with guide rail clamps

Accurate cuts with your track saw may require using a screw or quick clamp to secure the guide rail to your workpiece. For this reason, the GRS-16 features notches to accommodate popular clamps from Festool, Axminster, or the like.

Built to be a Lifetime Tool

The GRS-16 is precision CNC machined from a single piece of 5/8" (15 mm) thick 6061-T6 aluminum and then anodized for a non-marking, high durability finish. The high clamping-force draw latch is custom-made from stainless steel to resist rust and pitting over time. Despite its high clamping strength, a comfort coating on the latch handle makes it easy to generate the leverage necessary to engage, release or reposition the square along your length of track. The GRS-16 guide rail square is made in the United States, and comes with our five-year warranty.

So Which Tool is Right for You?

If you want the absolute smallest and lightest form factor and anticipate using the square for conventional cuts referencing the front edge of your workpiece, choose the GRS-16 (the product you see on this page). If you need the ability to reference off the front and back edge of your workpiece, select the GRS-16 PE.

A System Approach

The GRS-16 is much more than a guide rail square; in fact, it's the foundation of a broader system of TSO Products designed for interoperability. Case in point: the GRS-16 includes attachment points to connect to the TSO Parallel Guide System (Gen 1 or Gen 2). Once connected, you can repeatedly square and parallel rip multiple workpieces in a single operation.

Warranty & Returns

TSO brand products are guaranteed for five years from date of sale against defects in materials or workmanship. Normal wear and tear and accidental damage are not covered. For any product determined to have a defect covered by this warranty, TSO Products will repair or, at its option, replace with current comparable product.     Compared to other track squares,yours is easy to install,accurate,doesn't need to be adjusted and is easy to store and can be changed from track to track quickly.

    If You Need Square Cuts

    I'm currently in the process of building cupboards and cabinets in my garage. I'm not a professional so I need all the help I can get. This GRS-16 is worth the cost; I can now measure, place my guide rail with the GRS-16 to my mark, and get a square cut each time. It just works, and I have confidence in it... which I did not have in any of my previous methods.

    Save time, save money, improve quality

    In my small workshop cutting a decent sized sheet of plywood square can be tricky sometimes, and I can't justify spending GBP500 on a Festool MFT. Well, the solution has turned out to be the GRS16. I wasn't the cheapest piece of aluminium I've ever bought but it's quality and performance more than justify the expense. I can cut square every time with ease and speed. Faster, more accurate and simpler setup saves time and money. I wish I'd found this earlier, and I''ll likely order the PE version soon. You won''t regret buying one of these guides.

    This is a time saver for me. Just make sure you have a clean edger to reference from. After that, there is little / no need to check for square when making the cut. Well worth the money in my mind.

    Great Product, Fantastic Service

    I recently purchased the GRS-16 - it's extremely well made and is a fantastic addition to my workshop. I use it with a Makita Track Saw and it cuts work time in half (pun intended). I had a problem with some sort of glitch in the website when I was trying to order the product and I had to contact TSO. It was a very enlightening experience - the people at TSO are not only knowledgeable but extremely helpful. It's so good to know that you are dealing with a company that's actually nice. I know it doesn't make the tools any better or worse, but it makes you feel good about working with a company that cares about the products and the services they deliver to their customers. I am a big fan and a newly loyal customer.
