Compatible with guide rail clamps

Accurate cuts with your track saw may require using a screw or quick clamp to secure the guide rail to your workpiece. For this reason, the GRS-16 features notches to accommodate popular clamps from Festool, Axminster, or the like.

Built to be a Lifetime Tool

The GRS-16 is precision CNC machined from a single piece of 5/8" (15 mm) thick 6061-T6 aluminum and then anodized for a non-marking, high durability finish. The high clamping-force draw latch is custom-made from stainless steel to resist rust and pitting over time. Despite its high clamping strength, a comfort coating on the latch handle makes it easy to generate the leverage necessary to engage, release or reposition the square along your length of track. The GRS-16 guide rail square is made in the United States, and comes with our five-year warranty.

So Which Tool is Right for You?

If you want the absolute smallest and lightest form factor and anticipate using the square for conventional cuts referencing the front edge of your workpiece, choose the GRS-16 (the product you see on this page). If you need the ability to reference off the front and back edge of your workpiece, select the GRS-16 PE.

A System Approach

The GRS-16 is much more than a guide rail square; in fact, it's the foundation of a broader system of TSO Products designed for interoperability. Case in point: the GRS-16 includes attachment points to connect to the TSO Parallel Guide System (Gen 1 or Gen 2). Once connected, you can repeatedly square and parallel rip multiple workpieces in a single operation.

Warranty & Returns

TSO brand products are guaranteed for five years from date of sale against defects in materials or workmanship. Normal wear and tear and accidental damage are not covered. For any product determined to have a defect covered by this warranty, TSO Products will repair or, at its option, replace with current comparable product.     Make accurate, perfectly square cuts faster.

    I purchased the Festool TS-75 with an extra 55" guide rail. For a while I would use a drywall square and align my track against it to get a perfectly square cut. It works but setting up the cut takes more time than the cut itself. It takes less than 5 seconds to install the GRS-16 and setting up the cut means just placing the track w/ the guide rail on your pencil marks and you're done. The cuts are VERY square and have been very happy with this product. I seriously cannot recommend this product enough if you own a Festool track saw.

    Best tracksaw accessory on the maket

    The GRS-16 works - no fiddling around with nuts, bolts, moving parts. Even a relative newby, like myself, can use it like a professional would. I'm making a bench for my MFT3 to sit on out of laminated ply and was able to cut all the stock within minutes of opening the parcel. I don't have a table saw, but even if I had, this tool would be my "go to" tool to break down sheet goods. Before the GRs-16 I had to juggle with track and square and clamps to make one cut. Now I do t even bother with the clamp, butt it up to your piece and cut and your done.

    I've been doing woodwork for almost 50 years and I'm always looking for products that make things easier. This is one of those products that is...high quality with ease of use and 100% accurate right out of the box. I've only written two reviews over the years and this is one of them. It's not that other products were not good. I have many really nice tools. However, when something comes along that is amazing...then I take the time to encourage others with my review.
