Perfectly Parallel Track Saw Rip Cuts, Infinitely Repeatable

Track saws have made it easier than ever to break down sheet goods, but how can you ensure two or more panels are cut to identical dimensions?

Just like the fence on your table saw, the solution lies in using physical stops to ensure dead-on consistency between cuts.

The TSO Parallel Guide System attaches to your guide rail and positions the cutting line of your track saw perfectly parallel to the stock's edge at the precise distance you set—guaranteeing identical results every time.

Key Features

  • Repeatable Precision: Single-piece, solid metal T-tracks with laser-engraved scales and parallax-free FlipStops make accurate cuts easy and predictable.
  • Easy to Use: Quickly set your desired cut in Imperial or Metric dimensions using the high contrast scales.
  • Unmatched Capability: Make parallel rip cuts as wide as 50” or as narrow as 1/4” (6mm).
  • Connect It Your Way: Select from three different guide rail connection methods (each sold separately) to best fit your current workflow.
  • Quick Drop-On Attachment: Festool and Kreg ACS track saws users can take advantage of the Drop-On TPG Adapter, which transforms the Parallel Guide System into a faster and tool-free experience.
  • Compatible with TSO Guide Rail Squares: Transition from perfectly parallel rip cuts to perfectly square crosscuts when you add a TSO Guide Rail Square to the system.
  • Extensive Compatibility: Works with Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, Kreg ACS, DeWalt, RIGID, Milescraft, WEN, Eastvolt and Powertec guide rails.

How to Build Your TSO Parallel Guide System

  • STEP 1: Select a TPG Set based on maximum rip cut width
  • STEP 2: Select a method of attachment compatible with your guide rail. Sold separately. Buy any two.

    Game Changer

Posted by Peter B on 10th Jan 2025

I was looking at the Festool guide system and it seems clunky and I wasn't sold. I was looking at a woodpecker version that seemed nice, but someone in the comments mentioned that they didn't like it and that they should have bought the TSO. I ended up looking here and liked what I saw from the videos and write ups. I couldn't be happier! As a weekend warrior building cabinets these allow me to use my track saw to make the most accurate cuts than I ever have been able to do before. I didn't have to use my table saw at all with these. They're easy to use, super easy to calibrate and spot on accurate. The kit I bought came with the 50" and the 30", I just ordered the 20" as well.

    Absolutely incredible

This is one of those purchases you hold off on, and once you have it, wonder how you've lived without it. They're super simple to calibrate and make cutting perfectly parallel pieces a breeze. The quality and precision are impeccable. They've turned this average woodworker into one that's not too bad :)

It's amazing how these products can increase the accuracy of your cuts. Hands down one of my top tool purchases for 2024!

Just the best, but no instructions

Posted by Don Lemke on 25th Dec 2024

This is great but it does not come with instructions and it took me 30 minutes poking around on TSO website to figure out how to use these. If you provide a QR code it should go to that product info or video, not a generic page.

VERY high quality and such a timesaver, but…

Posted by Ali Wright on 1st Dec 2024

These are very well made and easy to adjust once you dial in the calibration and get used to the thoughtful little details TSO include like the spring in the settings marker. Switching to new settings is quick. I gave it four stars for two reasons - the price and the play. These are insanely expensive so you really must be all in on the “buy once, cry once” mindset. They’re definitely worth it though in time savings for repeatable cuts when handling larger pieces if you don’t have a large sliding table saw setup or something. My other concern is the play. You have to handle these slowly and patiently or they will get knocked out of whack ever so slightly from cut to cut. There is also a significant amount of play with the connector to your track. Even using both screws tighten very hard, after a couple of cuts there’s some jiggle. And if you only use the drop in feature it seems increase the jiggle. Finally, for some reason, they were often just slightly off from one another and required minor recalibration several times when breaking down multiple sheets of plywood. Probably did 100 cuts over a couple of days and had to adjust the calibration 4-5 times, hence my warning about moving slowly. Don’t underestimate the force against these when sliding your next board in place. Again, it doesn’t take much to shift these or I’m just being too aggressive. That said, I have a Festool setup in my small garage workspace and this made breaking down plywood SO much easier. I am very very pleased and glad I made the purchase. I will say I find myself using the 20” and 30” versions much more than the 50”, especially the 30. It’s the sweet spot!
