Use Festool drill bits in your DeWalt compact router

This high quality 8mm collet fits into DeWalt Compact Routers (models DWP611, DWP611PK, DCW600B) and enables use of Festool's 5mm brad-point dowel drilling bits (Festool 491066 for standard stopped shelf pin holes, and Festool 491064 for through-holes), along with any other 8mm shank router bits. This collet is made from U.S. alloy steel on precision equipment and is qualified to meet high quality standards, with extremely low runout.

With this 8mm collet and our Adapter Kit, you can use your DeWalt compact router (model DCW600 or DCW611 with DNP612 plunge base) with Festool's LR 32 Hole Drilling System—one of the best ways to efficiently build cabinets using the standardized European frameless 32mm system.

    Better than OEM!

    This 8mm collet for my compact Dewalt router is fantastic!! I am going to buy another one. It is an exact duplicate of the OEM collet except that is 8mm. Something Dewalt does not sell in the US, I believe. Actually, this collet has a more refined quality fit and feel compared to the 1/4 inch OEM. This but enables me to use 8mm bits on my Leigh dovetail jig in conjunction with a Milescraft subcompact router baseplate. Going cordless with a smaller form factor lighted router on the dovetail jig is a game changer from my heavier Bosch router.
