Perfectly Parallel Track Saw Rip Cuts, Infinitely Repeatable

Track saws have made it easier than ever to break down sheet goods, but how can you ensure two or more panels are cut to identical dimensions?

Just like the fence on your table saw, the solution lies in using physical stops to ensure dead-on consistency between cuts.

The TSO Parallel Guide System attaches to your guide rail and positions the cutting line of your track saw perfectly parallel to the stock's edge at the precise distance you set—guaranteeing identical results every time.

Key Features

  • Repeatable Precision: Single-piece, solid metal T-tracks with laser-engraved scales and parallax-free FlipStops make accurate cuts easy and predictable.
  • Easy to Use: Quickly set your desired cut in Imperial or Metric dimensions using the high contrast scales.
  • Unmatched Capability: Make parallel rip cuts as wide as 50” or as narrow as 1/4” (6mm).
  • Connect It Your Way: Select from three different guide rail connection methods (each sold separately) to best fit your current workflow.
  • Quick Drop-On Attachment: Festool and Kreg ACS track saws users can take advantage of the Drop-On TPG Adapter, which transforms the Parallel Guide System into a faster and tool-free experience.
  • Compatible with TSO Guide Rail Squares: Transition from perfectly parallel rip cuts to perfectly square crosscuts when you add a TSO Guide Rail Square to the system.
  • Extensive Compatibility: Works with Festool, Makita, Milwaukee, Kreg ACS, DeWalt, RIGID, Milescraft, WEN, Eastvolt and Powertec guide rails.

How to Build Your TSO Parallel Guide System

  • STEP 1: Select a TPG Set based on maximum rip cut width
  • STEP 2: Select a method of attachment compatible with your guide rail. Sold separately. Buy any two.

    narrow rip champion!

Posted by Paul Gilna on 9th May 2025

As a recent retiree wishing to get back into woodworking, I made the decision to forgo the acquisition of a table saw in preference to a UJK Parf System-based MFT-style workbench paired to a Festool track saw system. I have been happy with this choice, however given that I make a lot of picture frames, I was somewhat limited to box-store S4S dimensioned lumber for my frame stock, which, as long as I need Walnut, Cherry, Oak, I could get by. Yes, one could rip from larger boards, but it was a bit hit and miss. This parallel guide system changed all that; I was easily able to rip consistent 1 1/2 x 3/4 lengths out of 4" or 5" boards usually sourced from woodcraft. The main thing to watch is to make sure your guide rail is fully supported along its length by scrap wood of the same thickness. Now I'm making frames out of Ash, Padauk, etc., and even though I am paying for wider S4S stock, it turns out to be less expensive than that box-store stuff!

    Buy the 30” set!

Posted by Michael Tarvin on 29th Apr 2025

Quality products, but I have issue with customer service. I’ve bought a lot of products from TSO, including the 20” & 50” PGS. I’d like to have the 30” tracks but they are only available in the set. I called to see what my options are—nothing. Offered to buy another 50” if they would ship a 30”, they can’t be bothered. I’ll never purchase from TSO again.

TPG Parallel guide is about average as compared to others

Posted by William R Davis on 14th Mar 2025

I believe all parallel guide systems are somewhat flawed, in that they rely on some kind of visual setting instead of a rigid repeatable locking setting. Having to eyeball a visual flip stop against a ruler is not great for getting two guides set exactly the same. I will use these guides for rough cuts only, not finished cuts. I do not recommend them (or any other brand for that matter)

The TSO parallel guides work very well. They are easy to use, calibrate, and read. I like these much better then the guides I previously used

    Game Changer

Posted by Peter B on 10th Jan 2025

I was looking at the Festool guide system and it seems clunky and I wasn't sold. I was looking at a woodpecker version that seemed nice, but someone in the comments mentioned that they didn't like it and that they should have bought the TSO. I ended up looking here and liked what I saw from the videos and write ups. I couldn't be happier! As a weekend warrior building cabinets these allow me to use my track saw to make the most accurate cuts than I ever have been able to do before. I didn't have to use my table saw at all with these. They're easy to use, super easy to calibrate and spot on accurate. The kit I bought came with the 50" and the 30", I just ordered the 20" as well.
