Description

Safety, Precision & Control Around the Whole Shop

We're huge fans of the Grr-ripper for its adjustability—particularly when it comes to narrow cuts on the table saw. This is made possible by the Grr-ripper's internal rubber support pad which can be repositioned quickly with two knobs. Safely work with small and narrow stock on a table saw, router table, jointer, band saw, and more. Protect your hands while maintaining total control of your workpiece for more precise cuts.

3D Force for Total Control

Three directions of force provide stability for superior precision, safety, and control:

  1. Downward pressure virtually eliminates kickback
  2. Inward pressure keeps stock firmly against the fence
  3. Forward pressure controls and feeds both sides of the stock for cleaner cuts

The GRR-Ripper stabilizes for cutting bevel rips, resawing, irregular-shaped stock, dowels, dados, and more.

Safety for Your Digits

Protect your hands by keeping them safely away from woodworking equipment, while also maintaining total control of your workpiece.

Precision Control for Rips as Thin as ¼"

Adjustable center leg to accommodate cuts from ¼” to 5¼” wide with the saw blade under the Grr-ripper.

Virtually Eliminates Kickback

The Grr-ripper's unique design provides downward force, controlling the keeper and off-cut workpiece. This prevents the workpiece from lifting off the tabletop and significantly reduces the likelihood of kickback.

Superior Grip & Traction

Green Grr-rip is the proprietary non-slip material that gives you superior gripping power over workpieces and materials such as oak, cherry, walnut, ebony, pine, poplar, maple plastics and aluminum. Treaded grooves provide increased traction on the workpiece even with sawdust. Easily cleaned with denatured or rubbing alcohol.

How to Put the GRR-Ripper to Use

  • Freehand Routing: Control your workpiece when freehand routing on your router table.
  • Rip Long Stock: On the table saw, rip long stock by using two Grr-rippers with the hand-over-hand or leapfrog technique.
  • Face Jointing: For proper and safe face jointing, you need technique and reliable heavy-duty holding power. Strengthen your operation with our Green Grr-rip non-slip material.
  • Veneers on Bandsaw: Use the Grr-ripper in the vertical position to resaw or veneer cuts firmly against the fence to prevent bandsaw drift and ensure a straight cut from beginning to end.
