Boeshield T-9®: The Ultimate Metal Protector

Originally developed by The Boeing Company for the long-term protection of aircraft metals, Boeshield T-9® is a unique formulation of solvent carrier and paraffin wax. It penetrates deep into the microscopic pores and crevices of a metal surface, displaces moisture, dissolves minor corrosion, and dries to a clean, waxy film that shields against rust, corrosion, and the elements—without Teflon®, silicone, fluorocarbons, MEK, or acetone.

Waterproof in both saltwater and freshwater, T-9® delivers durable, long-lasting lubrication and protection for all metals, including stainless steel, cast iron, brass, copper, and aluminum. It dries to the touch in minutes and won't wash off in rain, puddles, or mud—making it ideal for everyday tools and long-term storage alike.

How to Use

1. Shake well to properly mix the solvent and additives for best results.
2. Apply to a clean, dry surface. For a lighter film, spray on and wipe off the excess coating. For long-term storage protection, spray on and let set.
3. Allow to set. Drying time can vary with conditions.
4. Repeat as needed.

Boeshield T-9® is most effective between 32–150°F.
