The Most Popular DIY Workbench, Now Improved
In partnership with Ron Paulk, TSO is excited to offer plans for building your very own Paulk Workbench II with Router Table. As seen on Ron Paulk's YouTube channel, Ron's next-generation table saw router workbench takes the best of what made his original Paulk design so popular, and both refines and expands the concept. By incorporating a table saw mount, the entire workbench can be transformed into a massive outfeed table. On the opposite end of the bench, once again smartly taking advantage of the mass and available real estate, Ron has added a fully featured router table with miter track and t-tracks. By just removing the fence and dropping the bit down, you can regain full use of that space. If you've got limited shop real estate, it's hard to envision a better all-in-one workshop that the Paulk Workbench II with Router Table.
These DIY workbench plans will be delivered via digital download (PDF/ZIP file). Measurements are provided in both Imperial and Metric. Tools and materials are not included.
We're pleased to be able to offer Ron's popular plans to the TSO community. For more Ron Paulk plans, visit our Woodworking Plans and Drawings section. Please provide feedback to Ron through his YouTube channel and let us know what you create!

built by a total beginner
I'm completely new to woodworking and wanted to build a bench could be put away when not in use, but still be practical. I came across the paulk workbench on youtube and bought the plans. I have not incorporated the table saw or router table yet, but may add them later. I was very impressed with the strength of the bench, even jumped up myself and I'm 200lbs. solid as a rock. I manually laid out the hole pattern and drilled with a forstner bit, took my time and it worked out well. overall I'd give the plans a 10/10 for clarity and information. I'm a mechanical engineer, and found these plans to be top quality.

Paul Workbench 2 plans
The plans are fantastic and easy to follow. My only criticism is that the metric measurements would be better if slightly altered. eg change 178mm to 180, 102mm to 100 or 152 to 150mm. In hindsight I wish I'd done that, but instead I followed the plans to the letter.
