Description

Keep Your Worktop Pristine & Productive

These anti-slip pads come in packs of eight and sit on 20mm dogs with a newly extended depth to help keep them securely in place. In use, they raise a workpiece slightly, enabling you to use a guide rail and plunge saw to cut through a workpiece while avoiding scoring the top of your multifunction workbench. These anti-slip dogs fit into any 20mm chamfered dog hole and allow work such as sanding to proceed without mechanical clamping, giving full access to a workpiece's entire surface. Workholding is by friction alone.

  • Avoid scoring the top of a workbench or MFT when sawing
  • High friction anti-slip pads help keep work in place
  • For multifunction and MFT workbenches with 20mm chamfered dog holes

    They Move Around

Posted by Derek Arita on 20th Feb 2023

These grip well and are the perfect height, however if you move the board, some of them slip out of the chamfer which raises them up. If you use them to protect your MFT from kerfs, any board position adjustments you make will dislodge the dogs. Too bad the dogs aren't deeper, with the same above-surface height, to hold them in place better.

    Product Quantity

The picture is misleading as it shows 8 x dogs. You only get 4 dogs. The product description should be updated to note the number of protection dogs in set. In addition, the dogs show a Red plastic like material on top. The dogs I received had a aluminum surface.

    Anti-slip dogs

The dogs are not long enough to stay in the holes. Any movement of your workpiece across them pops them from their holes and then you have to spend time fussing with them to get them back into the holes. Benchdogs makes a version them is longer and do not get dislodged as easily.
