Description

Position Your Guide Rail for Precise, Repeatable Cutting & Routing

There's a variety of means to attach guide rails to 20mm worktops, but we're partial to these UJK Guide Rail Dogs for their ability to stand off the guide rail to a particular height. This makes repeatable cutting operations much faster, since you don't have to fiddle with pulling the guide rail assembly up to slide your next workpiece underneath.

These unique stainless steel UJK dogs feature a T-bolt that fits into the T-slot on the underside of your Festool, Makita, or Bosch/Mafell guide rail. Unlike standard dogs that are referenced against the side of the rail, these dogs are hidden beneath your rail. They replace the need to rely on Dog Rail Clips to keep the rail in position. Once located in the dog holes in your multifunction bench, your guide rail is going nowhere.

Another benefit to using these dogs is the resulting location of your cutting line. Unlike Dog Rail Clips or other attachment method that reference off the side of the guide rail, your cutting line is not positioned over a set of dog holes. This ensures you get the full "zero clearance" benefit of your worktop to reduce tearout on the bottom of your workpiece while cutting.

These dogs are supplied with two aluminium split collars which fit over each dog. If the workpiece you are cutting is narrow, the rail can rock. These collars support the rail to stop this rocking. The dogs have a metric scale 75mm along the side. This scale is used to measure the thickness of wood and then allow you to set the collar on the dog to the correct thickness for support. A final feature is the straight knurl on the leading taper. This assists when threading the T-bolt (which is in the rail) to the dog.

Suitable for the Festool MFT/3 or any multifunction workbench using the 20x96mm hole standard. Compatible with Festool, Makita, or Bosch/Mafell guide rails—be sure to select the correct option at the top of this page.

Sold as a package of two dogs and two collars.

They have increase the speed and easy of using my Parf guide cutting table. The dogs are high quality . I used them to build some shop cabinets and it was a breeze . It’s great to slide your plywood under the rail that remains at a fixed height. No rail clips to fiddle with.

Wow! These are heavy and strong! They have a possibility of slippage on the locking collars, so be sure to keep them tight!
