Description
Two Tools in One: Power Reamer & Chamfer
The Parf Guide System relies on the fine tolerance fit between the dog holes and the dogs—neither too tight or too loose. Changes in humidity can make it difficult to insert or remove 20mm dogs. Machined from stainless steel, this UJK Combined Chamfer & Reamer Tool does two jobs at once.
This 2-in-1 tool featuring a 10mm hexagonal shank can be used in your favorite cordless drill chuck (use at slow speed). The reamer portion has a gentle lead in and four cutting flutes to ream the holes to a precise size. With this woodworking multi-tool, your 20mm dogs will fit snugly without wobble yet can still be removed without difficulty.
After the reamer, the chamfer tool comes into action. It cuts a neat, shallow chamfer around the top of the dog hole. This chamfer allows full use of our Power-Loc or Smart Connect Bench Connecting Dogs, as well as Parf Super Dogs or any other 20mm dog that utilizes a lip. In addition, by removing the sharp edge around the hole, it prevents damage from repeated insertion of dogs, clamps and other accessories. The chamfer features a solid tungsten carbide cutter with four adjustable cutting sides. If it ever gets dull, which is unlikely, you can always rotate the carbide insert to another side.
Note: This cutter works best in MDF, HDF or plywood with a melamine facing. We do not recommended it for hardwood veneer plywood, where the high cutting speed of a traditional woodworking router and chamfer bit with pilot bearing will provide a superior result.

Chamfer and Reamer tool
This is a really useful device as it combines reaming and chamfering. I have found that MDF tops from different suppliers are inconsistent and some have been unuseable as delivered. If you seal the top to protect the surface then you will need this afterwards but the holes in MDF tops seem to contract over time even without sealing ,requiring reaming for continued use. You will need some care and a chunky electric drill if the holes are very undersized but an invaluable tool for MFT users

Love UJk Products
As with all UJK products, it’s perfect. I bought to accompany the UJK Parf Guide System, which works unbelievably well too. After making the grid, I put shellac over top and inevitably it got down into the dogholes. Clearing out the holes, as well as adding the chamfer allows accessories to work the way they are supposed. I can’t say enough about the IJK products and this will not be the last product I purchase from them.

Combination chamfer/reamer
Excellent, easy to use with the drill

Very precise and perfect
There’s something to be said for having the right tools for the job. This little gem expedites a process that otherwise is quite inexact and only 25% as thorough. The fact that it creates a perfect little chamfer AND cleans the dog hole makes it much more applicable and useful than any standard router bit.

Finishing Touch to self-made MFT
I made a multi-function table from a roller toolbox. I used a CNC to interpolate the 20mm diameter 92 mm spaced hole pattern. This tool quickly gave me precise final bores with the included chamfer.
