Description

Note: This version of the Narrow Stock Pro is designed for the Parallel Guide System Gen 2 or Gen 1. The standalone Narrow Stock Pro attaches directly to your guide rail and does not require a Parallel Guide System.

Thin Rips with the Parallel Guide System

Thin rips have traditionally been one of the trickiest cuts to make with a track saw. The Narrow Stock Pro for Parallel Guide System changes that—turning a challenge into a task that is fast, safe, and precise. By attaching directly to both Parallel Guide Tracks, it delivers a stable, rigid setup that keeps your workpiece secure and your results accurate.

The "Thin Rip" Challenge

When cutting narrow workpieces, even the slightest movement or error can mean wasted material—or worse, unsafe cuts. This accessory eliminates the guesswork. Because it references directly off the laser-engraved scales of the Parallel Guide System, you can set your cut width without rulers, combination squares, or extra setup steps. Just dial in your measurement, lock it down, and cut with confidence. No need to hold your breath on thin rips; every cut is accurate, stable, and repeatable from the first time to the last.

Key Features

  • Direct System Integration: Attaches to both Parallel Guide Tracks for unmatched stability.
  • Scale-Based Setup: Uses the Parallel Guide System’s laser-engraved scales for instant, tool-free calibration.
  • Safe & Accurate Thin Rips: Make repeatable narrow cuts that would otherwise be risky or inconsistent with a track saw alone.
  • Portable Table Saw Alternative: Handle thin rips on sheet goods and panels without needing a stationary saw.
  • Backward Compatible: Works with both Parallel Guide System Gen 2 and Gen 1 Tracks.

Easy Calibration & Measurement

The Narrow Stock Pro for Parallel Guide System uses the same sturdy Gage Bars found in our core Narrow Stock Pro product—now paired with the laser-engraved scales of the system for faster, tool-free setup.

To calibrate:

  1. Set the cursor to your desired zero point on the Parallel Guide Track scale.
  2. Tighten the spring-loaded knobs to hold position.
  3. Using the included 3mm hex driver, loosen the locking screw.
  4. Slide the Gage Bar up until it makes contact with the kerf strip on your guide rail.
  5. Re-tighten the locking screw to secure.

From there, you can use the laser-engraved scales on your Parallel Guide Tracks to set precise rip widths — just like with the Flip Stop Pro, but optimized for thin rips.

What's Included (Two Options)

  • Narrow Stock Pro Guides (Pair): Two Narrow Stock Pro guides that attach directly to both parallel guides of your system. Perfect if you already own Guide Rail Supports or don’t need them for your workflow.
  • Narrow Stock Pro + Guide Rail Supports (Complete Set): Includes two Narrow Stock Pro guides plus two Guide Rail Supports. The supports help stabilize your guide rail and prevent deflection when cutting narrow workpieces, giving extra confidence and accuracy.

PRO TIP: The More Support, the Better

For longer narrow rips, consider adding additional Guide Rail Supports. With height-adjustable feet, they make great supports for the ends or middle of your guide rail. They prevent guide rail tipping or deflection.
