Which Tip Is Right for You?

Both ball end and square end hex bits have advantages depending on how you work and the fasteners you’re driving. Choosing the right tip style can improve access, durability, and overall performance.

• Ball End Hex Bits allow you to engage fasteners at an angle, making them ideal for tight spaces, recessed hardware, and obstructed assemblies. The angled engagement offers greater flexibility and faster access when a straight-on approach isn’t possible.
• Square End Hex Bits (traditional straight-cut tips) provide maximum surface contact inside the fastener. This results in improved durability, reduced wear, and the best choice for high-torque applications or situations where straight-on access is available.

Built for Impact Use

Each bit is made from S2-H steel and impact-rated for use with impact drivers and drill drivers. This balance of hardness and toughness is especially important for hex bits, which must withstand repeated torsional shock without rounding over or snapping.

A manganese phosphate surface treatment improves wear resistance, reduces friction during use, and helps protect against corrosion. Laser-engraved size markings make identification quick and easy, even after extended use.
