Economical Knobs with Custom Laser-Cut Washers Compatible with 20mm Dogs

A perfect way to secure bench dogs from underneath your 20mm worktop.

While we generally recommend our M8 SpeedKnobs as the ultimate solution to securing your 20mm bench dogs, these M8 Star Grip Knobs are an economical and completely serviceable alternative. These bench dog knobs feature an M8x1.25 thread and 30mm long stud length which results in approximately 27mm of available thread length after allowing for the included Delrin® washer thickness. Ideal for clamping our DoubleGroove™ Dogs as well as most other bench dogs on the market. With a star shape and soft-touch plastic, it's easy to use even with gloves on.

Note: Because the clamping surface area of these threaded knobs is only 14mm, we include a pair of laser-cut Delrin washers that enlarge the clamping diameter beyond the 20mm holes standard in many worktops.

Note: These M8 star knobs feature an M8x1.25 stud length of 30mm, whereas our M8 SpeedKnobs feature a 15mm stud length. If you don't need that extra length, the M8 SpeedKnobs might be a better option.
